At Harol, we believe that genuine quality starts at the source. That’s why we combine Belgian production with carefully selected top brands which provide essential components for our awnings, screens, roller shutters and pergolas. This allows us to supply customised sun protection solutions which will last for years while working perfectly and looking stylish.

In-house production with a focus on quality

As a Belgian manufacturer, Harol produces the majority of its products in-house, in Diest. Thanks to our own production processes, we retain control over:

quality of finish
customisation and personalisation
sustainability and life expectancy
supply reliability

But, for specific components such as motors, awning fabrics and powder coatings, we deliberately choose to collaborate with a few of the best international suppliers.

Somfy motors: smart operation for your sun protection solution

For the automation of our sun protection solutions and roller shutters, we have been working for many years with Somfy, market leader in electric motors and home automation solutions. Somfy guarantees:

quiet and energy efficient motors
compatibility with smart home systems
reliable functioning day after day

Thanks to Somfy, you can enjoy optimum user convenience, whether you are operating your sun protection via a remote control, smartphone or speech assistant.

High-end fabrics from top manufacturers

The right fabric determines the performance and look of your awning or screen. Harol only uses top-quality fabrics from leading European producers:

Dickson – French top-quality woven acrylic fabrics, colour-fast and low-maintenance
Sattler – Austrian specialist in durable, UV resistant awning fabrics
Serge Ferrari – expert in composite fabrics for screens which are heat-repellent and improve visual comfort
Copaco – Belgian manufacturer of top-quality screen fabrics with acoustic comfort
Mermet – French supplier of quality fabrics with thermal and optical control

These fabrics combine technical performance with aesthetic quality and are available in various colours and textures, which can be perfectly matched to any façade style.

Powder coating with Axalta and Sherwin-Williams

To finish our aluminium profiles, we use powder paints from Axalta and Sherwin-Williams, world leaders in coating technology. They guarantee:

a scratch-proof, colour-fast finish
UV and corrosion-resistance
long life span, even in challenging settings

Also, the entire powder-coating process is carried out in-house so that we can monitor the quality down to the tiniest details.

Why choose Harol?

Combining in-house production with the very best international components enables Harol to supply sun protection solutions which offer:

technical reliability
a stylish and sleek finish
